The Daffodils are so pretty - and such variety all over. Looking at this one made me think of something delicate and fragile. When I searched for a scripture that used that word I came across this one in Job. How true it is that we often put our faith in things and people that are fragile or that too easily fall apart.

Job 8:13-15 (NIV)

13 Such is the destiny of all who forget God;
so perishes the hope of the godless.

14 What he trusts in is fragile;
what he relies on is a spider's web.

15 He leans on his web, but it gives way;
he clings to it, but it does not hold.

To compliment the verse - the song lyrics came right to mind of the old Hymn "My Hope Is Built" How blessed we are to belong to the Solid Rock. Praise God for his strength and endurance and His never ending faithfulness! He will never 'give way.

I love Daffodils, Valerie... They are just SPRING to me.

Yes---we are all fragile at times, even those of us with alot of faith... God will take care of us though.

Hugs,
Betsy
