Tom Gibbs, Senior pastor at Presbyterian Redeemer Church in San Antonio TX had a sermon posted online about climbing rainbows HERE. He used the quote from Matheson's hymn "O Love That Will Not Let Me Go" and gave some history behind it. It gives a clearer understanding as to what he was thinking when he wrote it.

I really enjoyed the insight from reading his (4 and a half page) sermon. It is a very easy read. If you have time, pop over there and read it, espeically if you are going thru a tough time in your life.

Praying God's blessings on you today.

There's nothing greater to show God's presence than a rainbow, Valerie... Great picture, scripture and quote.
