I never paid much attention to the berries that grow on the bushes in the fall. The leaves all drop off - as the snow arrives and the berries remain. I love seeing the birds feast off of the bounty, God provides for them.

Funny story to share...when my son was young, he came into the house covered with REAL cedar waxwings. Apparently they had eaten the berries on the tree that had fermented....basically intoxicated birds. Our garage was full of them. We closed the door and they sobered up over night. We still laugh about it today!
