They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength.......
I got an 'error' so if I put this again and you've already received it, I apologize. This is a lovely sentiment and I know quite a few friends who need to hear this in their life right now. They want whatever they want right NOW! and I can't say I blame them because they're not in good situations...Have a blessed day!
Blessings Valerie,Just the photo I was looking for yesterday for an upcoming post but I linked to another past one. My, how I miss visiting here daily. But I've somewhat been following. So I know that this verse is speaking to your heart in a BIG way...but it reaches me with the same profoundwisdom and I too, find it difficult to WAIT without knowing. Yet isn't it wonderful that His Word is right there for us with promises for us to hold on to... just like your precious photo of this sparrow, clinging to that branch... waiting.Just as we cling to the Vine as one of His branches!I've been praying with and for you and your husband and added you at the Lighthouse of Prayer. May God give you the strength to wait. May you take heart as you wait and may the outcome also be one of God's favor. Hold on. Cling and wait for the Lord. He has it all in His hands and it really is easier to say than believe when we're in that tough place of waiting and believing God cares more than even we do. He knows it all. May the joy of the Lord be your strength and may that joy reach your husband to encourage, reach and strengthen him in the unknown with that which is known, God has a good plan and will complete all for our good... Thank you Valerie! I wait each Sunday hoping to see you link up with Super SON Sunday... because your posts always inspire. I don't link you anymore to the list because perhaps you choose to spend the day in REST and your week is consumed, and right now even more so as you wait. However, in one of my upcoming Sundays I link to your blog in my post as a hint to a song but mostly because I value your scenes, your quotes whether scripture or a song or just a great quote.I pray doing these still is therapeutic to you... as they are to me when I take the time to reflect and gaze into the wonder of your beautiful photography! Peace, love, comfort and JOY...Stay strong,Peggy
Yes, we all need to WAIT PATIENTLY for the Lord... He does answer our prayers... We just need to stay strong!!!!Hugs,Betsy
The waiting is often difficult but it is so necessary.
