Not the prettiest of birds - but the Blue Heron is an amazing bird to see fly!
Is there a difference between pretty and beautiful?
I think so.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and we all seem to view things through different lenses. But I guess the last word might be that when God created this world and all it's creatures, He declared it all "good."

Just read that pretty is temporal, it fades, but beautiful is eternal. As humans we are so strongly focused on the cute, cuddly, adorable, all things that pass with time. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and does not fade, but rather becomes more beautiful as time moves on and the respect, love and appreciation grows. Maybe I need a 2nd cup to think on this some more, lol!
